**important** you have to use shift instead of enter!!!**

for those that don't know, a text adventure is a game where you type your actions instead of using a controller or something. it's sort of a interactive story. this is my first attempt at one and i'm still working out how to make them :P

the instructions are in the game already, but if anyone wants help, just comment below and i'll try to help out! if anyone finds any bugs or typos, please let me know also! thanks! i hope you have fun :P

there are also some easter eggs in there if you type bad or do silly things.

You did an excellent job :)
But I just can't figure out how to use the hammer on the borads -_-

The only thing I would like is, to know if the text zone is selected...

actually, you just have to click the game and the text will automatically be in the text box. it doesn't work like a normal textbox :P

I really enjoyed this game- however, I felt some of the commands were worded wierd- and thus hard to figure out. I would phrase it as "use hammer on" rather than "use hammer with".

mhmm i had a tendency to do that as well. i'm trying to figure out a way to make it much easier to program and so i could have more commands for the next game. :P

If I knew more about programming, I'd help- but that escapes me, lol. I'm just good at playing the games.
My brother used to make a ton of these, though. What program do you make this with? (What code/ whatever the actual term for this is, lol)

i used actionscript 2, or macromedia flash to make this game. i've heard that it isn't a very good programming language to make these types of games and that java is better.

Ah, interesting.
I guess when my brother attempted to teach me, he used QBasic. :/ But you can't use QBasic on Vista (if that's what you have, lol)
